Did you guys like Sylvia? Did you see much of her? Or Marcie, for that matter, or was he only around some of the time?
   “ Oh, I made it a point to visit that little man as often as I could. While he wasn’t always in our care - our father happily played his part, too - we did always make it a point to be part of his life. We took him to his first concert - New Kids on the Block - took him out on so many of our trips. “ They couldn’t take him too far out of the country, not on any of their big trips, but they’ve taken him to plenty of countries and states alike.
   “ Silas was there to harass him about his first crush and all. We- we were very much a part of his life. “
   “ I think it was the other way around, Sylvia didn’t see very much of him at all for a while. He was ours for a good while. “ From what he remembers anyway. “ Don’t get me wrong, we love that little dear, but she was very into her career at the time. I think it was only fair that we took Marcie on so she could pursue her dreams. God bless her, though, what a sweet woman.
   “ I think the General was and is still bitter that she isn’t Mom, “ prompting an elbow in the side from the aforementioned, “ but we definitely like her. She’s soft and... good. You know? I wish we’d seen more of her, too, but we’ve done a little bit of catching up over the years. Not that she’s our mother to catch up with, but nevertheless. “Â
